Good News/Bad News

Well blog friends, I have good news and bad news.  Good news is the computer man thinks he can get all my files back!  Bad new is I won't be able to pick it up until TUESDAY because of the holiday weekend.  I have started a couple of things but they will not be finished tonight.  So, Freebie #3 will have to wait until tomorrow.   I am so sorry!  I will leave you with this silly little video that was shared at the technology conference I went to at the beginning of the summer.  I need a laugh!  HAHA!

Oh! Thanks to everyone for your comments about my little hard drive!  They really did help me feel better because I was TOTALLY SAD!

Don't forget to enter my giveaway if you haven't yet!

  3. Oh no! I've been out of the loop since nearly dying from heat exhaustion at Canton! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all of your files will be saved. Hang in there!

Just a thought, do you use Dropbox? I had similar computer issues to yours one time and nearly lost a good amount of work. Since then, I keep a copy of my files on Dropbox. Look into it or something similar if you haven't yet!

    Fingers crossed,
    Cari

  4. I it should not make you feel any better... but my hard drive crashed about 2 weeks ago. My husband unplugged our back drive about 4 weeks ago - ugh! In that two weeks I created a class for a National Conference including pictures from my classroom etc... things I can't recreate because of the summer. Good news for me is that only those two weeks are not recoverable. So I have spent the last few days recreating documents and staging pictures at the library. I'm almost done but it has been very frustrating! Thought you might like to know that you are not alone in your recovery efforts! Hope you got everything back ok!
